Tonmawr Primary School Crunchy Crew Food Co-op
Schools in PelennaTonmawr Primary School has recently launched a food cooperative project which is being run by older pupils and parents on Wednesday afternoon.
The project will help the pupils contribute to better health in their school and community.

Pontrhydyfen Primary School Centenary Year: 1908-2008
2008 is the Centenary year for Pontrhydyfen Primary School.? They have already produced a Centenary calendar and are now looking to produce a Centenary book.
They would like members of the public who have attended Pontrhydyfen Primary School over the last 100 years to call into the school if they have any photographs or memorable information about their time in school.

Iolo Williams officially opens Tonmawr Primary School Sensory GardenNature-loving children at a village school have put the finishing touches to their sensory garden.Youngsters from Tonmawr primary helped design the special new garden and will now be able to take some of their classes outdoors.

Communities First in Pelenna helped to get the initiative underway, with environment charity Groundwork.

Communities First co-ordinator Martin Ellis said: "They had a ball the day it was opened, and Iolo Williams, who came along, was fantastic with them."
